Description
Gecktar is a typical looking Minotaur with tanned skin and dark brown eyes. He has a powerfull build that shows is martial training. His pride are his horns that are of pure white ivory. He has some fur on his arms, his shoulders and his chest. He is usualy fully clad in metal, wearing a chain mail armor and a large metal shield. On his armor he wears a black tunic with a silvery hammer and anvil on the chest. These are the symbols of Imod. They too appears on his shield engraved in the metal. At his side on the left hangs a mighty longsword (it's name is Faith) and on the right a large dagger with the hammer and the anvil on the pommel. When on the way for battle he often carries a long bow and a quiver in his back. Proficient with many weapons, as his training allows him, he always take the more advantageous weapon he find on the battle field but always prefering the long sword one mighty weapon of his God.

Personality
As many of his kin, he his brave and courageous, not fearing fight when times need it. But he always prefered diplomacy. Even if as a Minotaur his mere presence don't qualify him to be the leader of negociation he works hard to become a good negociator and ambassador of his church. He his clever and makes friend easily. But be careful not to betray him because his wrath can be great.

Background
As many of my kin, I was born in a family of warriors. In my young years, I was teached the way of war as any son of the family Cadeqa is expected to. But soon I found that I was not a true warrior in my mind. Not that I was a coward nor incompetant, but my faith was already above all else. Yes honor, honor ! Imod is Honor and Bravery. It is our creator, and our guide... When I first present my wishes, to become a priest of Imod, my father laugh at me and send me into a disciplinary camp of soldiers. For two long years I stayed in this 'academy' where the only important thing was how to kill rapidly and cleanly. But after two years of this treatment, I met a rare priest of Imod during a fight against some Centaurs. I managed to approach him and tell him what was my inclinations about religion. Immediatly, the priest (named Foath) take me 'under his wing' and expressely asked my father to send me to a temple of Imod to be educated as a priest. My father reluctantly accepted only because you can not say 'no' to a priest of Imod. They are rare, but they are among the more influent people in the minotaur society, they are the Heart of Imod. At the age of 30, after eight years of studious learning, I was expeted to come through the Kayleb of initiation to be accepted as an adept of Imod and continue my apprenticeship. After a long fight, I managed to incapacitate my foe only because of my old soldier training. I then realised that this was my fate to go against my father will and endure his wrath, as it is the way I managed to enter the priesthood of Imod.

As soon as I was accepted to become a priest of Imod, I learn the ways of diplomacy and religion according to the ways of Imod. I then follows a grand priest as his 'aide de camp' trying to solve differents problems among the church and the minautor society.

One day my master decided to consecrate me as a true priest of Imod, and said to me that now, I have to find my way alone. A bit desoriented, I try to find it. Meditating, praying and helping the desperate. Then I realized that I was more useful out of the temple. So as a worthy representative of my cult I dressed in full metal and go on the ways to promote the cult of Imod.

During these trips, I encountered many races, 'Nobles' and 'Ignobles' as human says but all where worthy and beautiful in their perfections and their flaws... And there was one thing that bind them together. Be it the mighty warriors or the mothers educating their children all have the mere essence of Imod in their veins : Courage. This is the best lesson I learn during that period.

Sometime joining groups of adventurers, a priest is always welcome, even more if he knows how to wield a weapon, I forge my faith more and more until the fateful day.

When Imod died, I don't know if the word is the good one, all my world collapse around me. All my divine powers were gone. And my mind was also affected. I leave the group of adventurers that I joined few month ago and wander alone in the nature. I met myself... All this time I was thinking about the way of my life... And I found it. There was still courage in my blood. When I understand that, I fought by the words and the sword deception, misery and fear. I fought all that went against my renewed faith. Imod was dead but not me. And all that I believe in was still here, in my heart.

This, until the more important day of my life, the day I come to life for a second time, the day I feel Imod again. He was reborn. As soon as I felt it, I helped some temple to gather founds to rebuild their splendor, and give a hand to fight servant of Marteaus.

All these events conceal one thing to me. A reccurent dream where I see unified Taur to struggle against fate. But now, there's one more thing... Imod talked to me. I'm sure now. He designated me as one of his Chosen. A Chosen of Imod or simply a Chosen of Domi as the other call him.

From the day I realized, I went in search of other Chosen. There must be at leats one Centaur and one Wemic. There is no reasons that Minotaurs will be the only one Chosen. I gather some informations about one group that fought against many ennemies and always keep in mind to try to reunite the Taurs. Now I want to find them as my fate is bound to them.
