Description
Percy is short, even for a Spiker, and a little sensitive about it. In his younger days he dyed his skin and spikes blood red, these days he prefers a darker red. He wears a tattered chain shirt and always carries a pair of manacles along with several blades of different sizes.
He shows his faction affiliation by wearing a small medallion around his neck.

Personality
Percy has a bad temper, he tries his best to control but it often gets the better of him.

Background
Percy was a Mercykiller, good at it too. He believed in the law, that there was a proper punishment for every crime. He devoted his life to punishing the guilty.

But Percy also had a temper and once in a while a prisoner got beaten up or worse… but when he confessed to the Factotums, they simply said “they’re criminals, let’s call it resisting arrest”. He always tried to do the right thing, the legal thing, but every so often a voice deep inside of him whispered an easier solution, sometimes it just felt more just to kill the criminals instead of imprisoning them.

Percy struggled with this for many years, but then the faction war happened and Percys world was turned upside down, the law and order he’d worked so hard to enforce crumbled around him. In the chaos and confusion most of his friends were quick to join the Sodkillers, seeing an opportunity to have things their own way, to dispense justice as they saw fit.

It would have been all too easy for Percy to go with his friends, to let the inner beast take control and do what felt right instead of what was just. But in the Sons of Mercy he saw a chance to redeem himself, to become a better man.
It wasn’t easy, not everyone in his new faction welcomed him with open arms, Percy had a bit of a reputation and joining a new faction doesn’t wash away the past.

Finding the spark of good in everyone was and still is hard, especially when he isn't certain that there'se a spark within himself.

He makes his money as a bounty hunter, another reason why he isn’t popular with the Sodkillers, which is what brought him to Curst. He was on the trail of a particular nasty tiefling named Hrakon Thava, wanted for a double murder in Tradegate. After following the trail half way around the Great Ring, Percy finally caught up with him in Curst.

Allies:
One of the few people Percy calls a friend is Eggert Silvermane of the Sons of Mercy. The two have worked together on several occasions and the old Aasimar cleric has helped Percy deal with his temper in a constructive manner. Percy often turns to him when he has doubts whether he’s following the right course of action. He’s not a father figure, but something along the lines of a wiser older brother.

Dirk and Prod are two old Mercykiller acquaintances, probably the only two Sodkillers Percys still on speaking terms with. They’re part of the crew Percy used to work with and while their methods are a bit rough, they’ve helped him out of more than one tough situation. This goes both ways, so once in a while they ask for a favour and that might include some dark deeds.

Enemies:
there's obviously a lot, people he put away, relatives of those who "resisted arrest" and so on, not to mention his former Mercykiller friends who joined the Sodkillers.
